Financial Analysis Courses Starting Soon

We're running sessions throughout late 2025 and into early 2026. Most programmes start in September or October, giving you time to plan around your current commitments. Real business cases, practical frameworks, and techniques you'll actually use.

What's Available This Year

Each course runs for eight weeks with a mix of evening sessions and weekend workshops. We keep groups small because the best learning happens when you can ask specific questions about your own business challenges.

Instructor Liselotte Farnsworth teaching financial analysis

Meet Your Instructor

Liselotte Farnsworth has been working with Australian businesses for seventeen years. She started in corporate finance, moved to consulting, and eventually found her way to teaching because she kept getting the same questions from business owners who needed clear answers without the jargon.

What makes her approach different? She doesn't assume you have an accounting background. The courses focus on interpretation and application – understanding what the numbers mean for your specific situation and what actions make sense.

Background: CPA qualified with MBA from University of Melbourne

Experience: Worked across retail, manufacturing, and professional services sectors

Teaching focus: Practical application over theoretical concepts

How Registration Works

1

Initial Contact

Send us a message about which course interests you. We'll reply within two business days with more details about content, prerequisites, and what to expect from the sessions.

2

Brief Conversation

We usually have a quick chat – about fifteen minutes – to make sure the course matches what you're looking for. This also gives you a chance to ask specific questions about content or scheduling.

3

Confirm Your Spot

Once you've decided to join, we'll send through registration paperwork and payment details. Classes are limited to twelve participants, so early confirmation helps secure your place.

4

Pre-Course Material

About ten days before the first session, you'll receive introductory materials and any preparation work. Nothing too demanding – usually just some context-setting reading and a short questionnaire about your current situation.

What People Actually Gain

Past participants tell us the biggest shift isn't learning new formulas – it's developing confidence to interpret their own financial reports and ask better questions of their accountants or financial advisors.

  • Ability to spot warning signs in monthly reports before problems escalate
  • Framework for evaluating business decisions with financial implications
  • Practical tools for forecasting and scenario planning
  • Understanding of which metrics matter most for your industry
  • Skills to communicate financial information to stakeholders clearly

The courses won't make you a chartered accountant. They will make you more effective at managing business finances and understanding what drives performance in your specific context.
